SUMMERFEST 2025

Each year during January, Menai Anglican Church runs a Summerfest program. This year we are mixing things up with 5 major events between 15th – 21st January. But just like every other year, there’s something for everyone – all welcome!

Our kids event will be lots of fun for Kindy – Yr5 and will feature a special guest  – Master Builder Caleb from everyone’s favourite brick building show! 

Our youth event is for everyone in Yr 6 – Yr 12. Due to the weather it will now be held at Menai Anglican Church (1 Broughton Pl, Barden Ridge) for a hectic afternoon of food, fun and hangouts! Come for some soccer, basketball, yard games, and hear what it means to live life to the full with God.

Our women’s event will bring out your creative side as you make your own summer inspired earrings with polymer clay! Our warm and encouraging team are on hand to help you mould your creation as you enjoy a selection of summer desserts and drinks over a short Christian testimony.

For the blokes we’ve booked out Sunday Road Brewery for a great night that will also feature guest speaker – Geoff Bell, ex-NRL, State of Origin, and International footballer.

We will also have a special Mental Health Event free for all to attend. Many of us have people in our lives who are suffering in the midst of mental illness. Guest Speaker – Miriam, an accredited mental health social worker, counsellor and supervisor, will help us see that there is a way to find hope for ourselves and those we love in the midst of mental illness.
